Cheers, I was thinking of maybe using the original 3rd brake light and putting high intensity LEDs in there instead. Thought someone might of already done something similar, I did think about mounting one on the cage or just using the ones you screw to the exterior just thought people might have some pics of what they've done to see what looks and performs best.

High-level brake light would work well, assuming you can make it bright enough... I don't think you have to retain any of the original brake lights for circuit cars (although it's probably a good idea).

You DO need brake lights!

I've got a 52mm Maplin LED light.
Bolts through to the scuttle for the boot.
