RALLYE SPECIFICATION

Well, since owning my rallye, ive gone from having it standard to stripping it and back to standard again.. the things ive done though are as follows..

Removing of doorcards, seats front and rear, carpet, spare wheel and cage. In place went..

Bucket seats (courtesy of Makro's) BARGAIN!!!
Sabelt drivers harness

Quote:
After a few months of owning the buckets, i decided to revert back to standard interior, i use my car everyday and i drive two hours a day, they just wernt very cumfy..

When i bought the rallye back on 21st of january 2006, it came fitted with a fse power boost valve and a 'subtle spoiler', i was fairly scepticle about both these mods, but had already arranged to go take a look and buy it.. so off to wolverhampton i trecked, when i arrived, i was excited, but saddend also, my thoughts about the 'subtle spoiler' were correct.. i didnt like it to begin with, but it's kinda grown on me.
As for the fse power boost valve... well, i couldnt say if it makes any difference at all, but dont want to remove it just for the sake that it MAY make a very slight difference in terms of power/torque...

FUTURE MODS

Source a second hand axle in order to lower the rear.
Pugsport (drooooollllll)
Sabelt passenger harness
That's all for now, I'm not greedy!!

Wheels and tyres: standard S1 Steelies (in need of attention) goodyear eagle ga tyres

Ice: kenwood mp3 headunit, infinity 6by9s

Interior: almost untouched, bar the harness, headunit, 6by9s and momo gearnob

Previous cars: ford fiesta 1.1 (bless) ford orion 'encore' lol 1.4

Dream garage: S1 rallye 16v'lvd, porsche 911 gt3, mustang, the list can go on...

Renault clio sport 172 (my mum's)
Peugeot 206 1.9 diesel (my sis's)
Peugeot 106 s1 rallye 1.3 (mine)

stripped!!!! (again)

Dave Y and I spent an hour and a half completely gutting the rallye the other night...

-NOTE the interior light dangling down where dave got a wee bit hee man.... (dave you owe me a roof lining!)

one of daves cunning idea's for a foto... 'use the passenger sunvisor mirror to capture all the stuff we've taken out'

pretty ace foto i thought...

nice work mate, i will fix your speedo. it will have to be round daves as he has a jack (mine broke ) and he has a flat surface outside of his house. as for teh fuel gauage i dunno.

i told you theres a opinion in your gearbox that can be taken out and bet you that has all been crewed up. if its not that i t will be the wiring.

either way give me a text and let dave know and i will get on it

got home from work today about quatre to 7, really pissed off with the crap day i'd had, opened my front door, and there it was...... MY PUGSPORT!!!!! (finally)

'Dave mate, wanna give me a hand'

so i chuck it in my boot and cain it over to daves, was worried we might run out of light....
un wrapped it all and thats when it hit me... 'FUCKSAKES IT'S A 3'' NOT A 2''....
i was too keen to get it all fitted and on the car to really care, plus it's kinda already grown on me (in the last few hours lol) fitting it was really simple, thanks to Dave Y my (gay) mechanic! only joking dave x
im soooo happy with it, i never imagined it to be so raspy, i fooking love it!

and a few vids....

http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...t=MOV00031.flv

http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y22...t=MOV00032.flv

my car is very slowly but surely getting to where i want it, we arn't all priviledged with well payed jobs after all but i'm getting there slowly...... very slowly.....

finally got round to removing my 'subtle' spoiler the other day, it's left two screw holes in the tailgate but it looks 100% better

also removed the flaps, they looked silly to be honest

Thanks James, Bonnie.

James the flaps will be making another appearance shortly, once ive sorted out some better tyres (which dont have a foot high tyre wall) they'll be going up front- with a slight modification as to what they'll have written on them the holes are going to be filled and then just touched up, shouldn't be too obvious when painted..

Bonnie, im having to put the standard zorst back on for mot next month.. but if your still in need of the centre section let me know, i'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement

oww also got pulled over this morning, was half an hour early for work (first time ive ever been early lol) see a police car go past me do a quick u turn and dons the lights... im thinking.. ok, what have i done wrong.... pull over, turn off engine and unwind window "hello sir the reason iv'e pulled you over... oww sorry sir, i didnt think you were waring a seatbelt" haha i had my harness on nice and tight! so anyway they checked over my car details and tyre treads just so they didnt pull me over for nothing.. and found nothing wrong with me or my car, told me i had to do a producer which was fine with me because i dont tend to carry around important information like that, plus it's weight saving haha!
It's getting beyond a joke now, in the last year and 5 or so months ive owned the rallye, I've been pulled over more than a dozen times, surely i could get them done for harrassment?? why cant they get out there and catch some real criminals!

Today, I have mostly been...

...Sanding down my 205 'pepper pot' wheels...

This has been a very tedious project for me, as i get very bored very quickly and the wheels i got off Dave Y were painted black and it's taking ages to sand them all down...

I really like the look of them in black... May just sand them down and paint them back to black...

Also got to decide what tyres to put on them.. opinions please!!!

should of kept them black fool, but i reckon a nice low profile of A357 or what ever they are and for colour, a dark red, like my saxo. that would look great. white is too much of an arse to keep clean.

look nice mind. i only want 60 for my green ones but rich you can have them for 45. lots of track day tyres then. or sell or steelies? you wouldget some good monmey for them as you just sprayed them

Thanks to Ross Davis, i finally got round to fitting a non-seized rear axle. It's off his old saxo vts, and he'd had it lowered so i now have a new vts rear axle which has been lowered and disks at the back too! I must say I'm so happy with results, the brakes feel soooo much better you wouldnt believe and now feel confident chucking it into corners- sweet! so thanks again to Ross

a few pics of how it sits atm... so much better than before!!!

what ya rekon... lower it a wee bit more???
