There probably going to be Shiney Gloss black - Almost done a light anthracite but the black ones James photoshopped looked better. Plus I love black on Black

Compomtive centre caps are blue - tho I may change them to Red?!

Yea sure do hope so

Not got anything done ALL Xmas Holiday Not feeling it with this weather, need a few good weather weekends really!!

Picked up an OMP Rear Cage - (one I owned many years ago). Going to look into getting door bars next month.

Not sure what im doing with the interior yet? More than likely giving the Red carpet a bloody good clean and keeping it with a full interior. Not sure on seats yet though? Nothing wrong with S1 seats, just fancy changing them

Got some 266mm calipers coming so will order new pads / discs / hoses for those when they arrive.

Not sure about Suspension setup yet either, got a few ideas / options / setups ready an waiting lol

Got my Compomotives back - got new KU31s fitted (cheers Ash). Will also be fitting my stud conversion I got for Xmas on at some point before the wheels go on.

Also ordered Baker Bushes hard rubber Top mount and gearbox mount. Will prob go for a Group A lower mount

On the look out for a Black S1 Bonnet still!!!

Uhmm - Can't comment yet mate. Only drove it once when I was bringing it home! Was not exactly running right either. Made the S2 seem more tame though!

Got my Baker Bushes mounts through today. Gone for the hard rubber Jobbies for the Gearbox and Top mount. Going to order a Group A Lower mount from SkipBrowns soon.

GREAT PRICE and FAST SERVICE from Pugracing. www.pugracing.com. Also good for Pug gearbox rebuild and car work

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/PugRacing-GearRodShop

Ecsta sports fitted now - Not blown out onto the wheels yet as the wheels need spraying still... Im lazy

My Old Cage which has passed hands a few times LOL Back with me for a while now

OMP S1 Strut brace - Will respray this when I do wheels / rockers later on in the spring.

Oh and some old Seats... Had a bit of envy towards my mates old school 1.9 leathers, so I got a set. Will get them fitted in a few months when I have sorted other things! Rear bench is slightly shorter but im sure with a small amount of work it will go in. There Mint though Managed to get the Black n Red ones to match the S1 Carpet. Shit pic though

Not much of an Update really... Struts are off - Billies and Eibachs ready to go back on, just waiting for new drop links to come through. Gonna change engine mounts / manifold and exhaust in the next few weeks. Home life is a bit up in the air so just need a car that I can drive at the mo!

Got an SRD bonnet - Been in the RR Family fror a while. Will get it sprayed upin a few months.

Sold my 205 GTi leathers, really wanted to fit them but couldnt be arsed with finding a base mounted subframe for a cheap price. Most were way to pricey!

Now got some P I M P leathers for the S1. I need a full interior now really. Will see how long they last before I sell them on lol

Car is still stripped Gonna put it all back together in the evenings now providing its still fairly light out.

Struts going back on today as new drop links etc arrived.

Fitted group N gearbox mount yesterday and started to access top mount for changing also. Going to bosch the lower mount in the bracket during the week then fit that ASAP.

Still gotta fit samco water hoses and Exhaust / Manifold. Oil change on engine and gearbox then get cambelt done!

Hoping to get this thing on the Road within a few weeks!

Struts are on now - Used Gti struts so had to change the drop links. Looking for a Gti front antiroll bar to complete it now.

Made a start on the wheels today...

Can't see the car making it to Combe as I'm working away in Scotland for a few weeks!

Its Alive! Finished off a few bits and bobs in the rain / snow (oil and coolant) and fitted rear Billies and some temporary Compomotives Mo's. Now its back on the ground and almost ready to roll...

Started first turn of the key. Manifold / Exhaust is off ready to fit my Raceland and Pugsport.

Thanks to the main man Dan (mk1racer) for welding the plate under the chassis for my lower mount. Group A Mount is nice and secure now. Also got my plates welded in for my rear cage and the door bars made up @ the same time. Got a fair few things to sort now, but its getting closer to movement - FINALLY!!

New 206 GTi brakes on (266mm). Went for Mintex discs and pads. Using standard GTi brakes hoses at the mo but will prob uprate to braided at some Point.

Still waiting for GTi antiroll bar and Lambda sensor!

Going to spray the insides of my arches this weekend ready for when the door bars are fitted. Needs a good old clean and tidy still, not ever bothered as needed to spend time getting it moving first!
