Peugeot 106 xs/rallye/xsi
(As Piston Heads Advert)
For sale: Here is my cherished S1 Peugeot 106 XS for sale. I have owned this car for the last two years and in this time it has never missed a beat! It has been maintained with no expense spared under my ownership, being reguarly serviced and cleaned. I have attended many enthuaiast car meets with this, including FCS '07! And until recently I was a member of the 106 rallye register! However, no I'm at University and find it hard to justify the cost of keeping a car which I now rarely use! Spec: - 6" Rally Spotlamps - Xsi front bumper - Pipercross Air Filter - Sparco Upper strut brace - Raised bonnet with pins - Lowered 40mm on Apex Springs - Upgraded brakes to GTI calipers with Brembo Max discs - Full Stainless Steel Exhaust System (Pugsport) - S1 Steelies on Pirelli rubber - Stripped interior with Bucket seats and 3 point harnesses - Front Carbon fibre door cards - Alpine Headunit. The car is great on B-roads but can handle the motorway miles too. I have driven all over the country in this car and it has never let me down. This car would be idea to convert to 16 valves. And with minor tweeking would make an excellent track-day car! Bad Points: - Front discs could do with replacing - Small rust spot on top of the roof (20p piece size) - Can sometimes have erratic idle if unused for some time, possibly a dirty sensor which needs cleaning/ - Few small dents on passenger side door (common on 106's of this age) but nevertheless good bodywork for a car that is 13 years old! ...however: - New Sparkplugs - New Battery - New altenator - Geabox replaced with an 1.4 XSi gearbox under 3,000 miles ago I'm sure I've missed lots of things off so don't hesitate to ask! Will be sad to see this go! ANY SERIOUS OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Forgot to add: £750!! As stated on piston heads advert guys, any serious offer is considered! Matt, your directions to the M23 were spot on. The car covered around 250 miles to get me back home, 70-80 on the motorway most of the way and didn't miss a beat. I am surprised no one on here snapped it up sooner. The only downside was that the base of the bucket seat is angled too low for me, so my right leg had no support, about halfway home the lower part of my leg was really starting to ache, but it's no big deal to alter the angle.
