Not much to say about this manifold. It does the business at a price nothing else can touch, but the fit is not brilliant, getting it mounted is hard work (compared to the OE manifold and separate downpipe) and the flanges tend not to be perfectly flat. These manifolds will test your patience when you fit them but look and act the part once you've got them in and sealed up. A good partner for your Pugsport (but get that first!)

I love my Pugsport. But it's caused me pain. I doesn't fit perfectly onto the car like it ought to. I've had to put it back on it's hangers more than once and now have used tiny jubilee clips to stop the exhaust coming off the rubbers. Others have reported suspect build quality but no sign of that on mine at the moment. I've got the 3" rolled out, which looks spot on on a S1 for my money, and sounds lovely. Over 4000 revs the 'rasp' switches on, which you have to watch in town in order to keep a low profile! Out on the open road the car is more responsive, the exhaust pops and splutters like a race car on the overrun, if you work hard flameage is possible Wink It's pain having to swap it once a year but that's the fault of VOSA, not anyone else! There is nothing else that comes close for the money (although they're not all that cheap) but reservations aside, if it's the only mod you make to a standard rallye, you won't regret it.
